Acceptance of Terms

By using Spensr Events, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 13 years old and capable of entering a legally binding contract to use the service.

Service Description

Spensr Events is an event ingestion and delivery platform. Customers POST events to ingest endpoints and Spensr delivers them to customer-configured destinations such as webhooks.

  • The anonymous sandbox is available without account creation.
  • The Verified Sandbox and paid plans require an account.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us promptly at legal@spensrevents.com if you become aware of any unauthorized access to your account.

Acceptable Use

The following are prohibited:

  • Intentional infrastructure abuse, including flooding or DDoS attacks
  • Transmission of illegal content
  • Reverse engineering the platform
  • Reselling or redistributing the service without authorization
  • Circumventing rate limits or service restrictions

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Service Limits and Plan Tiers

  • Anonymous Sandbox: Free. No account required. Limited throughput. No retention guarantees.
  • Verified Sandbox: Free. Email required. 24-hour payload TTL. Auto-disabled every 24 hours.
  • Simple plan: $6/month. 48-hour payload TTL. Always-on.
  • Pro plan: $20/month. 14 to 30 day payload TTL. Always-on. Full features.

Specific throughput and rate limits may be published in documentation and are subject to change with reasonable notice.

Payment Terms

  • Billing is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
  • Spensr Events does not store payment card data.
  • Subscriptions are recurring. Cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current period, except as required by applicable law.
  • Pricing may change with reasonable advance notice.

Data Processing

  • Webhook payload data is processed solely to deliver events to your configured destinations.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your use of Spensr Events complies with applicable data protection laws for any personal data included in payloads.
  • Retention periods are plan-based as described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee uptime, delivery success rate, or uninterrupted service.
  • Our liability is limited to amounts you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. For free-tier users, liability is zero.
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

Intellectual Property

Spensr Events retains all rights to the platform, brand, and software. You retain all rights to your event payload data.

Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. We may terminate immediately for policy violations. On termination, your payload data will be deleted on the applicable TTL schedule. Free-tier accounts have no special data export guarantee.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes will be resolved in competent courts.

Changes to These Terms

When we make material changes, we update the effective date at the top of this document. Continued use of the service after the updated effective date constitutes acceptance of the changes.
